Through this blog I intend to express my views on trends and developments in South Africa. A lot has happened and continue to happen in the country. All of these have been dabated and catalogue. As a South African I wish to be part of this festival of ideas and not watch it from the sidelines.
I am a product of the revolution that ushered in the 1994 democratic breakthrough and therefore have views to offer in as far as the country has progressed under the stewardship of the ANC. The recording of the unfolding history of South Africa cannot be left to those whose interests are mainly academic and adventurous.
When the founding president of our democracy Dr Nelson Mandela was inaugrated in 1994 I also dreamt of a future better than our past.
Are we still on course in crafting this future? This blog will preoccupy itself with this question and many other developmental questions.

Thanks bro. I appreciate your visit and comments. You are quite right that there are a lot of distortions, misrepresentations and lies that are being ppassed as the truth.
For far too long we have had our stories and history written by others. The democratic space we have should be put to better use by telling it like we are living it and not leave it to those who are self-appointed experts of our lives.
Will definately do so. Amd I think this is the freedom ‘of speech and expression’ we have always waited, waited for and then achieve. Or isn’t it?
